Getting Back in the Groove with New Kits

Yes, I am still alive! I realize I went through a long stint with no new product. It was not planned and I didn't realize how much designing helped keep my weeks busy. I had two spine operations within just a few weeks of each other and the recovery kept me from playing and creating. At first, I didn't mind the break. At about week 3, I was climbing the walls. So I am quite excited to be back in the designing groove and I have new kits for you. In fact, I did so much sketching and have kits lined up for the next few weeks.

Two kits are in the shop and of course are at a discount and a buy one, get one free (for a limited time.) Here is a quick look at the deal available:

Reel Big

My most popular template kit, hands down, was Keep it Reel. You scrappers LOVE view master frames and I received so many messages about that kit. While trying to come up with a different way to use the reel frames, I decided to blend them with the equally popular big-photo template. So Reel Big is truly the marriage of two extremely popular looks. The templates in this kit allow you to highlight an important photo, then use the reel frame to add a sequence of coordinating photos. Don't think you have to use a ton of photos with these templates. They are so flexible...my CT showed me all the different ways you can use those reel frames: use as just an embellishment, use the frame spots to add words (thanks Nancy for that tip) or even fill the spots with a variety of papers and colors. I really think this kit is one of the most flexible of all my kits.

And here are some great examples of the kit from the creative team:

Expressions {Gratitude}

As I was recovering from the last operation, I grabbed my sketchbook and started drawing some layouts I had been formulating in my head. I was wanting to make pages for myself about what I was most grateful for and I decided I would turn them into templates because surely someone else might have a need for them. I included specific words instead of just leaving generic title spots so you could be one step ahead in making your layouts highlighting what you are most thankful for. And I then realized, I could start a whole new line of templates on specific emotional themes. So here is the first kit in the new Expressions series. Remember, you are not committed to the words I put on the templates. You will see in the CT examples you can delete the words I provided and add your own. If you choose to keep the words on the template, you can simply recolor or clip paper to them.

Take a look at how some of the creative team used the template pack:

Scrap N Art Magazine

This month a new template pack is available for free to subscribers of Scrap N Art magazine. (There is also a special discount for subscribers to use in my GingerScraps shop.) One of the templates in the free pack are featured in the article "1 Template, 3 Ways." The designers at the magazine did an amazing job with template and I am thrilled to share it with you. Here is a look at the kit you can pick up free on their site:

My creative team worked with this kit and made some gorgeous samples to share with y'all:
