New Kits Available, Including One for Mother's Day

I only planned one new release this past weekend. Those who know me or read last week's post, you are aware of the personal tragedy I had a few weeks ago. I was a little irritated my mother's death occurred so close to Mother's Day. It, no doubt, was a difficult Sunday for me and my siblings. We felt the gaping hole in our family. Something happened to me after letting my creative team know I would not release my planned Mother's Day template kit. I swear I could feel my mom giving me that look and not condoning my decision. And with that this kit quickly fell into place...just the way my mother would love it.

Here is the new My {Mom} Story:

You can also get My {Mom} Story at GoDigitalScrapbooking.com.

My kit just came out Sunday night, so I am grateful for these samples a few of my creative team members were able to put together:

Also available at GingerScraps is the new kit In Line:

The collabortion between ChereKaye Designs and myself is now available for purchase. Bumbershoots & Puddle Makers was designed for the April Daily Download. You can now purchase this massive collection for $10. It includes just about everything you need: paper, elements, alphabets and four templates.

Here are a few layout samples from this collection by my creative team:

From the Galleries

I know it has been some time since I featured layouts from the galleries. I did some browsing tonight and found some fabulous samples I want to share with you.

Msbrad made a stunning layout using a template from Take Three. Her paper choice was spot on and it makes for quite an inviting layout. Everything draws your eyes to these priceless photos.

Jencrook used a template from the Waiting for Spring kit. First off, LOVE the color choice. Of course it goes well with the photo, but it is just so pleasant and appealing. Second, this is a perfect example of how you can use only one photo and rely on the the myriad of paper patterns in a kit to embellish the page. Even the embellishment choice is perfect. They don't overwhelm the photo. Great layout and best of luck with your new missionary!

Sheri Catherine used a template from the Bumbershoots collab and went vintage. The old photo is such a treasure and I love how she puts it front and center. The buttons are a great touch and do lead your eyes to the primary photo. What I find more appealing is how she used the background. She used the mask to clip a precious photo. The journaling...or rather the story...is told in that mask space. Bravo on this page.

The final featured layout is from Totallycre8tive using a template from Stacks of Fun. This layout popped right off the screen when I saw it.. The photo is hands down adorable. The clustering is perfect and the variety of paper choices blend so well together. I even like that the stitching is only on the sides, as opposed to around the whole page. She just did a splendid job.

If your layout was featured, shoot me an email with your choice of a kit from one of my shops and you will get it free!

I hope you enjoy this week's offerings. I have already started on the upcoming releases and am sure you will love them. Well, I had fun making them.

Sparkle & Shine!
Melissa
