Time for a New Sneak Peek and Giveaway

I am sometimes baffled at how quick a week goes by now that I am designing. Just as I finish up new kits, get them to the shop and all the promo work that goes with it, it is time to start up for the new week. I am not complaining, I love it. I just don't ever remember weeks going by this quickly. (The best part is Alan does all the cooking since I am attached to the computer the moment I get home from work.)

With that, here is a sneak peek at one of the kits going into the shop on Friday, February 21, 2014:

And someone will get a chance to win this kit. Just follow the steps below to enter:
a Rafflecopter giveaway

The winner will be announced this weekend.

Just a reminder, today is the last day to shop the LissyKay store while everything is 30% off. Pick up those kits you have been keeping any eye on.

Friday will be fun with all the new releases and the amazing layouts from my creative team. Stay tuned!

  4. I usually read the tutorials on designers web pages and then save them if it is something I think I might use. I do wish designers would specify what program they are using when they make their posts. Can't tell you how many times I have saved something only to find out they are not using PSE. Thanks for the chance.

  6. A lot of times I ignore the tutorials because they are almost all exclusively about how to do something is Photo Shop. I will read the photography ones. I rarely see one for my program - SBC/Artisan

    1. This is great to know. I have been learning both programs, but I have a few experts on my team. I will see if we can start providing tutorials for SBC/Artisan. What would you gauge your skill level at?

  8. I sometimes read tutorials if the tutorial peeks my interest. I am mostly self taught and try to teach myself how to do something new.

  9. Sometimes, but since most of them are written for Photoshop or similar and I use the Gimp, they're not always very useable...

    1. It is on my to-do list to find someone to help write GIMP tutorials.

  11. I'm an Artisan user and it seems that all of the tutorials are for Photo Shop users, so I usually just skip right over those.
    Love your sneak peak!

  15. I don't read the tuts as they are written for Photoshop and I don't have that software so why waste my time. Thanks for the chance.

  16. Even though I scrap in Artisan, I also have PSE. I find that some tutorials done in PS can be done In PSE. You just have to know where to find that action/tool/brush/etc. are in PSE. I save the tutorials that I think I have figured out and will likely use. Thanks for the chance to win.

  17. I very rarely watch tutorials as they are almost always for photo shop and I use gimp. Sometimes the tricks still work, but often not.
